"I am frustrated with my level of consistency, how can I remain consistent with my daily habits Nilesh?"
Keep reading to discover my 10 truths about consistency.
A few weeks ago I went deep with one of my clients who had a beautiful mission of investing in companies that empower and inspire women leaders around the world.
But they were struggling with their energy, self-discipline and confidence in their ability to keep their word.
The truth is that they were secretly blaming themselves in times of inconsistency.
Their conscious wants and subconscious beliefs were out of alignment.
This led them to…
Scroll on their phone instead of working out.
Sleep in instead of meditating.
Eat mindlessly instead of chewing their food.
After realising that the root cause didn't lie in their actions but in their thoughts, things started to shift.
We dived deep into their subconscious and they remembered a painful moment in childhood that was giving them a misaligned identity…
It was this unhealed childhood wound that was the root cause for their inconsistency.
The self-images they had unknowingly created were…
"I am not important."
"My word is not valuable."
"No one listens to me so I won't listen to myself."
They didn't keep their own word because, in their past, people didn't do that for them.
Inconsistent attention was a common thread.
We released the trapped emotion in their body with some energetic practices and started to create new narratives like:
"I love to keep my word."
"Consistent self-care supports my higher purpose."
"When I can lead myself, leading others is effortless."
Only then did we use behavioural science techniques to create new positive habits through environmental design.
I used our 'TLC model' for self-compassionate consistency.
I checked in over the following few days and they not only felt lighter, more confident and free but they were also naturally more sure in their ability to be consistent in the future.

Here are my 10 truths about consistency.
- You are more consistent than you know
- In order to become intentionally consistent, you need to break your dependence
- Subconsciously, we are dependent on our past narrative, self-image and character
- You love what is known because it is safe and certain but no growth exists there
- To be consistent with your future self it takes acceptance, openness and compassion
- Understanding yourself is key, from that place you can set a higher purpose
- It is easy to be consistent when you are first clear on the "WHO?" (do I want to be?)
- Then the "WHY?" Why now? Why is it important? Why do I want to?
- Then the "WHERE?" and "WHERE?"
- And lastly the "WHAT if I miss it?" contingency plan
